The Design Consultation
Every bespoke ring begins with a conversation.
Our design consultation is an opportunity to sit down with our team, discuss your ideas and start imagining what your ring could look like. You may already have a very clear vision, or you may simply know that you want something unique.
If you're looking for inspiration, you can try on a selection of our existing pieces. Seeing different diamond shapes, settings, proportions and styles on the hand can be incredibly helpful when deciding what feels right for you.
This is where ideas begin to take shape.
We take the time to understand your preferences and translate your inspiration into a design that feels personal. Whether that's a timeless solitaire, a distinctive contemporary design or something completely your own.
Bringing Your Design to Life Digitally
Once we have an understanding of your vision, we move into the digital design stage.
Using advanced jewellery design technology, we create a detailed digital model of your ring. This allows you to see your design from every angle with a 360-degree preview before anything is made.
It's an exciting part of the process because you can see the proportions, details and overall shape of the ring come together.
The digital design also gives you the opportunity to refine the piece. We can make adjustments to elements such as the setting, proportions and finer details until the design feels just right.

Creating the Wax Prototype
With the digital design approved, the next step is creating a wax prototype.
The wax model gives you a physical representation of the ring before we begin crafting it in precious metal and setting the diamonds.
Being able to hold the prototype and see its proportions in person adds another dimension to the design process. It is another opportunity to make sure the scale, shape and overall feel of the piece are exactly what you envisioned.
Once the design has been confirmed, the ring is ready to enter our workshop.
Into the Workshop
This is where the craft truly begins.
Our bespoke engagement rings are crafted in our Sydney city workshop, where our master jeweller and diamond setter bring the approved design to life.
With 52 years of experience behind Tok Jewellers, our craftsmanship is grounded in an appreciation for the traditional skills of fine jewellery making, complemented by modern design techniques.
Our master jeweller carefully crafts the ring, paying close attention to its structure, finish and intricate details. The piece is then brought together with the expertise of our diamond setter, who carefully positions and secures each stone.
It is a process that requires precision, patience and an exceptional eye for detail.
The Real Deal
After the craftsmanship is complete, the finished ring is carefully inspected and prepared for its final presentation.
